This mentorship is built for artists and creatives ready to shift gears. Over 3 or 4 months, we define three focused, achievable goals; rooted in where you are, and where you want to go.

We meet regularly, check in between sessions, and create space for real action. No pressure to be perfect - just committed and curious.

  • Getting started is simple.
    Send an enquiry with information about the publication, your preferred timing and how you plan to use the images.

    You do not need to know exactly what kind of photography you need. Based on the publication and its intended use, I can recommend the most suitable approach.

  • Because book photography requires more than placing a publication in front of a camera.

    A book is a physical object, a communication instrument and the result of many creative decisions. Paper, binding, typography, colour, scale and sequence all influence how it should be photographed.

    The studio specialises in books and printed matter. You are therefore not spending time explaining why a particular paper, fold, binding or production detail matters.

    You also receive a structured process, clear communication and images prepared for practical use across your website, press materials, social media, catalogues, awards and archives.

  • The Book Photographer Studio is based in Amsterdam and works with clients throughout the Netherlands and internationally.

    Publications can be:

    • Delivered personally by appointment

    • Sent by post

    • Delivered by courier

    • Returned after the project when agreed in advance

    Please do not send books before the project has been confirmed.

    After confirmation, you will receive:

    • The complete studio address

    • Packing instructions where necessary

    • Return or collection arrangements
